Engineering Lead - Adobe Experience Manager

In this role you will play a key technical lead role, leading a team of AEM and DevOps engineers. 

About the Role
In this opportunity as Engineering Lead - Adobe Experience Manager, you will:
 

  • Working with technology peers and business partners to solve business problems and providing support to ensure the availability of our products are met.
  • Provide technical support to operations or other development teams by troubleshooting, debugging, and solving critical issues in the production environment in a timely manner to minimize user and revenue impact.
  • Ability to interpret code and solve problems based on existing standards.
  • Work closely with our business partners and stakeholders to identify requirements and priority of new enhancements and features and ensure that the stakeholders needs are being met.
  • Provides technical input and analysis to tactical and strategic planning. Utilizes technical expertise and experience to architect solutions that will improve supportability and availability of production services.
  • Actively participates and collaborates in meetings, processes, agile ceremonies and interaction with other technology groups.
  • Responsible for working with the project manager in planning the sprints, providing feedback, and communicating any obstacles.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, or coaching to software or systems engineering teams that are distributed across geographic locations.  Proactively share knowledge and best practices on using new and emerging technologies across all the development and testing groups.
  • Creates and maintains all required technical documentation / manual related to assigned components to ensure supportability.


About You:

You are fit for the role of an Engineering Lead – Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) if you have:

  • 6+ years of experience handling and leading development projects involving Adobe Experience Manager – experience with AEM as a Cloud Service is preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge of architecture & infrastructure considerations for AEM Sites and Assets
  • Experience in application and enterprise architecture, systems integration, and development with knowledge of interactive design specifically AEM
  • Knowledge on AWS services and management, including Serverless, Container, Queueing, and Monitoring services.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of CICD (continuous Integration and continuous delivery) concepts and version controlling (Git, GitHub)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Datadog Monitoring / similar monitoring tools, Cloud automation tools CloudFormation / Terraform and build and deployment tools like Jenkins/ GitHub runners etc.
  • Strong working knowledge with Analysis, Design, and Implementation including SOA, Web services, XML/HTTP, REST HTML, Servlets and APIs
  • Experience integrating with enterprise business systems like SAP, Salesforce via Middleware such as Dell Boomi
  • Knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) concepts to effectively leverage AEM.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
