We're on the lookout for a dynamic Delivery Manager to join our global team in Mexico City, working closely with the team in USA, India & Poland, driving innovation in application infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD tooling across diverse Thomson Reuters products.

About the role:

In this role as a Delivery Manager you will:

Deliver:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the global Delivery Team to ensure expected progress and successful tech designs, development, testing and implementation
  • Serve as escalation point for urgent and highly sensitive issues, including release management functions
  • Partner with application development teams and other stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables
  • Partner with security, data center, and service governance teams to deliver compliance with internal and external standards, expectations, and certifications
  • Effectively articulate complex problems, concepts, and solutions to varied audiences
  • Drive improvements in productivity, quality and reliability


Be a people leader:

  • Manage a diverse set of global engineers
  • Provide technical direction to team members and thought leadership across the team’s projects and responsibilities
  • Deliver effective talent management practices and optimize use of talent across the portfolio
  • Coach and mentor current and future leaders; proactively identify training and growth opportunities
  • Foster a continuous learning culture and a curiosity about emerging technologies


About you:

You are a fit for this position if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, Computer Science or related technical degree preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience in software development and/or technology infrastructure and operations
  • Proven ability to set direction and inspire team members to engage and deliver on a vision
  • Broad understanding of the technologies used to build, release and operate distributed application systems
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with technologies including GitHub/GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Services
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • A management style that is collaborative, energetic, and results-oriented
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated by complex technical and business challenges.
