We are actively seeking a driven and knowledgeable  Data Integration Engineer specializing in Snowflake  technology.

As part of your role, you will perform tasks related to analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support for data-intensive pipelines. You will play an integral role in enhancing system quality, identifying issues, and transforming applications through innovation.

• Prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents
• Implement, test, maintain, and support software, as outlined in technical design specifications
• Enhance system quality through identification of issues, common patterns, and formulation of standard operating procedures
• Identify and implement opportunities for system enhancements
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, and conduct peer code review changes
• Liaise with team members to implement technical designs
• Investigate and utilize new technologies as relevant
• Provide written knowledge transfer material
• Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents to provide pertinent feedback
• Provide technical support to customers, solving problems and answering queries
• Mentor other development staff members and provide assistance as needed
• Conduct special assignments according to needs
• Participate in architecture and code reviews
• Lead or participate in other projects or duties as assigned

Requirements

• Extensive experience with SQL cloud databases like Snowflake, and MS SQLServer. Experience with NoSQL databases like AWS DynamoDB and Azure Cosmos is a plus
• Solid experience and clear understanding of FiveTran and DBT
• Experience working with AWS and/or Azure DevOps and extensive debugging experience
• Clear understanding of data modeling, ETL, data curation, and big data performance tuning
• Experience with Data Quality and Observability tools like Monte Carlo is greatly preferred
• Experience with Data Catalogs like Atlan is a plus
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like PowerBI is a plus
• Sound understanding of unit testing, test-driven development, functional testing, and performance aspects
• Knowledge of at least one shell scripting language
• Ability to network with key contacts outside of own expertise
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
• Must demonstrate result-orientation and customer-focused mindset
• Strong organizational skills are required
