SAP ABAP/Fiori Consultant – Job Profile  

Position Summary:  
The SAP ABAP/Fiori Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom solutions using SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori/UI5 technologies. This role works closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly applications and enhancements within the SAP ecosystem. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Develop, test, and deploy custom programs and enhancements using SAP ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) 

• Design and build SAP Fiori/UI5 applications to improve user experience and business processes 

• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications 

• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for ABAP and Fiori developments 

• Integrate SAP Fiori apps with SAP backend systems (OData services, Gateway) 

• Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects 

• Document technical designs, development objects, and user guides 

• Provide end-user support and resolve technical issues related to custom developments

Required Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 

• Ability to travel 0-80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve 

• 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development 

• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 application development 

• Strong knowledge of OData services, SAP Gateway, and RESTful APIs 

• Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, or HR 

• Good understanding of SAP development lifecycle and best practices 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:  

• SAP ABAP or Fiori/UI5 certification 

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and CDS views 

• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Business Technology Platform 

• Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts
