OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE (3-4 bullets)

  • Citrix support a nd   platform improvements

  • Experience of interpreting issues, recommending actions and following through changes across teams .

  • Align with portfolio teams to look at and build new competencies and service delivery readiness in line with offering development

A CCOUNTABILITIES

  • C itrix support for XenApp,   Xen Desktop   and   Netscalers .

  • Establish automated processes to monitor applications to minimize failures or degraded performance, and alert administrators to problems.

  • Develop production, quality assurance (testing), and development environments for the content management infrastructure.

  • Provide on-call support to resolve emergency issues outside normal business hours.

  • Work with internal technical teams to identify and document future system enhancements

  • Communicate problems and problems resolutions to system support personnel to improve ongoing service delivery.

  • Ability to troubleshoot Citrix data store on   MS SQL   server .

  • Monitor and troubleshoot windows applications on the Citrix Farm servers.

  • Work with vendors on problem resolution to include Microsoft ,   Citrix and application vendors

  • Regularly interacts with customer and/or functional peer group managers.

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities across platforms, able to work with vendor escalation as needed.

  • Domain experience on service enablement is a plus   (various; preferred)

  • Experience in Agile development .

Complexity

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES ,   AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited university in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or equivalent field of study a plus.

  • Practical experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, RDS   AWS   and Terminal Servers, VLAN and Hypervisors

  • Relevant Microsoft or Citrix certifications are desirable, but not required.

  • cGMP training and knowledge of system qualification and validation is a plus.

  • 2 - 3   years of Citrix and/or IT operational experience, including with relevant Microsoft technologies.

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and interoperability with various network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Knowledge of MS Windows , Linux , and VMware operating systems.

  • Working knowledge of network tools, such as, Visio, Wireshark, etc.

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles.
