Operations automation specialist

Description

The Process Automation Developer role is part of our Cybersecurity Testing Program responsible for designing, developing, and automating commonly executed Cybersecurity Operations processes with a secondary focus on interpreting, manipulating, and automating the reporting of data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Use business analytics to automate data collection and summarization into meaningful reports.

·         Deduce the logical steps of a manual process through hands on evaluation and translate them into automated technical solutions.

·         Design and develop solutions to automate the execution and reporting of developed solutions.

·         Design and develop controls designed to ensure quality assurance of automated solutions

·         Proactively monitor automation jobs and remediate issues.

 

EXPERIENCE

Preferred Certifications (Not mandatory)

·         General Security Focused Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC

·         Relevant Scripting or Software Development Certifications or Education

KNOWLEDGE

·         Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and other relevant scripting languages is preferred

·         Intermediate level knowledge using solutions designed to track and manage automation jobs

·         Ability to generate or mine test data as required

·         Non-Technical Competencies

·         Experience communicating with across all levels in a corporate hierarchy

·         Intermediate level knowledge of common cybersecurity controls and concepts

·         Previous experience working as part of blue team or a function of cybersecurity operations
