About the Role 

In this opportunity as an Associate Architect, you will: 

  • Be a Technical Leader:  Research and recommend technical standards and best practices, ensure the architecture and design is well communicated and fits with overall technology and product strategy; and be hands-on in required areas to implement core components which would be reusable across applications.
  • Be an Effective Communicator –  the ability to articulate complex technical issues, and share ideas, participate in peer-reviews, and exhibit strong listening skills. Work with the business owners to translate requirements into actionable architectures.
  • Be a Decision Maker : Make quick and effective data-driven decisions, with good problem solving and analytical skills to infer qualitative and quantitative data and roll-out strategy that aligns with company goals.
  • Be a Team Player  – the ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, diverse ideas, partner with cross-functional and remote teams
  • Be an Agile Person  – with a strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to deliver solutions against strict timelines.
  • Be Curious & Innovative  – continuously update yourself with next-generation technology, development tools, and contribute to process development practices. 

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Associate Architect if you:

 

  • Have 5-7+ years of experience designing and delivering robust, high-volume, highly reliable and available web products and services for use in customer facing applications.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to synthesize business requirements with technology capabilities to produce coherent technical designs.
  • Must be an excellent communicator when speaking, writing, and in diagramming.
  • Have hands on experience in developing distributed applications using frameworks and technologies like Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, React, XML, JSON, REST, AWS, Azure.
  • Experience in software design, methodologies (Agile), testing, and tools (Micosoft ADO, Lucidchart).
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures, modernizing legacy architectures, and APIs designs.
  • Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, and prompt engineering. Nice to have
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to operate across organizational boundaries and to influence business stakeholders, as well as technology peers.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, analyze and prototype new technologies.
  • Passion to coach others interested in architecture, systems, design, influence and leadership.
