Associate Product Manager – OTIR

We are looking for customer-focused, collaborative, and strategic individuals with a strong passion for product leadership to join our Indirect Tax and E-Invoicing team in the role of Associate Product Manager. This position will focus the efforts on driving the prioritization and grooming of the backlog for their development teams.

About the Role  
In this opportunity as an Associate Product Manager – OTIR , you will:   

  • Facilitate a process of continuous improvement through the collection and analysis of objective data, team inputs, and client-provided feedback.  
  • Drive operational excellence by managing ongoing operational activities associated with managing a large software product such as OKR tracking, roadmap maintenance, material code management, and annual assets/documents refresh.  
  • Project management of product releases and process improvement projects. 
  • Manage product enhancement requests to facilitate the development prioritization process. 
  • Manage client communities, the distribution of guides and release notes, and product announcements. 
  • Assist with preparations for Client Advisory Board meetings and Synergy Annual Conference. 
  • Assist with internal team communications, regulatory updates, team meetings and communication channels. 
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities. 


About You 

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.   
  • Fluent English.
  • Must have a high-level proficiency in MS Office (mostly Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Experience in Tax Information Reporting subject matter. 
  • Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst in enterprise-class commercial business process software in finance, tax, or other B2B domains is a plus.  
  • Demonstrated strong project management and facilitation skills to drive consensus with cross-functional resources. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage across boundaries, exerting influence without authority, and collaboration between groups.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language including presentations, project plans, and status reports. 
  • Eager to learn and willing to take self-initiative.
