What you’ll do

You will be one of the senior technical engineers in the Snowflake team – needing to understand the what our data engineers are trying to achieve and developing the enterprise service to help make it happen. This might involve integrating a new ETL tool with Snowflake, working with CI/CD pipelines to enable teams to achieve transformation, metadata management and serving of data, along with useful guides to onboard users and teach standard patter.


As a platform engineer you must have technical skills, along with the ability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment We are looking for someone who gets excited at the thought of solving tough challenges.


You should apply if
  • You have previously played a role as a Platform service engineer for one or more of Data engineering platforms & services, especially Snowflake

  • You have administered enterprise platform services and are familiar with the configuration work an d practices to make it work seamless (e.g. Role / Policy / Tag based Access provisioning, connectivity, CI / CD – Continuous Integration & Deployment, service request automation, proactive service monitoring & alerting, data lifecycle management)

  • You have experience working with SQL programming to query Snowflake metadata to gather insights and visualize on Platform usage, adoption, service operational status & alerts, governance & observability; Metadata management & reporting; Business application & Data products jobs cost and performance optimization, management & tuning guidelines

  • You have awareness of GxP and SOX compliant platforms and services, and understand the importrance of data security & protection, masking, anonymization, logging & auditing, row & column level access controls; Backup & Disaster recovery.
