The Dayforce Product Development team is looking for an experienced Software Developer to create the industry’s next generation Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.

As a lead developer on our Platform team you will be working on our ground-breaking solution that helps companies increase their efficiencies and effectiveness in human capital management. Your impact will be evident through your effective participation in the entire lifecycle of our software including design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing and support of our products. • Drive the design and implementation of highly scalable and available innovative solutions

Skills and experience we value

• 7+ years of experience in building and leading development of complex SaaS and/or cloud-based applications
• Very Strong object-oriented design and programming skills using C#, .NET, .NET Core
• Hands on experience in applying design patterns, writing unit tests and optimizing performance
• Technical fluency; comfort leading, discussing or diving deep on technology concepts, options and new opportunities with technical team members
• Driven by delivering customer value and impact
• Experience with advanced programming constructs such as multi-threaded programming, event-driven architecture, messaging, Microservices
• Significant years of experience in building and leading cloud-based application development with public cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)

• Experience working with a microservice architecture

• Desire to work and experiment with new technologies
• Ability to debug, analyze and profile existing code
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

 

What would make you really stand out

• Experience with modern technology (React, Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, etc.)
• Experience with designing and implementing APIs
• Experience working with MFE (Micro Front-Ends)

• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, or other container-related technologies

• Proficiency with Data Model, SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
