Work together with an Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer of the industrial and agricultural equipment to support in the product development & optimization of various System and SW features with Model-based design on Simulink, using C/C++ for auto-generated code, following Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities
•Develop system models of features using corporate modeling techniques to ensure performance to spec.
•Ensure a high quality design supported by verification methods.
•Responsible for model based development activities.
•Responsible of maintenance of scripting, documentation, and support of tools for model integration activities.
•Responsible for tooling and scripting (MATLAB).
•Lead technical discussing with the customer for model integration activities.
•Development of the SW Design which covers the related software requirements and respects the defined software architecture.
•Prioritize and categorize software units and map them to future releases.
•Understand the automotive software development cycle or Automotive SPICE.
•Development of the software units that implement the software design in accordance to the defined coding rules.
•Perform code reviews to improve implementation quality.
•Translating and architecting feature requirements into executable system designs
•Specifying system level requirements
•Use code generation techniques to produce embedded code for target HW
•Ensure MBD systems align with production launch objectives
•Early validation of Feature proposal and re-design as needed

Skills
Must have

•7+ years of experience working in automotive industry or similar industry experience over model based development
•Advanced Model Based Development using Simulink/Stateflow.
•Advanced Code Generation using MATLAB embedded coder.
•Intermediate to advance scripting using high-level languages (MATLAB).
•Software Development Process Knowledge/experience.
•Experience with Configuration and Change Management tools.
•Ability to translate business requirements into features and user stories
•Technical understanding of prototype engineering and embedded system architectures
•Experience in C-Code Generation and implementation
•Experience with SysML, UML, UPDM, and other modeling languages
•Model Verification and quality assurance (guidelines, model advisor, MIL)
•Team player with solid communication skills
•Intercultural orientation
•Strong problem solving skills, ability to solve technical problems independently (and support others)
•Embrace and adapt to changes

•Agile Methodologies
•Knowledge in safety related processes (ISO26262)
•Knowledge in security related processes (ISO21434)
•Advance knowledge and experience in embedded Electronics, Microcontrollers, Embedded C/C++, compilers, and developer environment
•Requirements analysis.
•Knowledge of scripting languages such as python, perl, etc.
•Working with diagnostics (UDS ISO 14229, SAEJ1939)
•Experience with Communication Protocols (J1939,CAN,CANFD,ETH,LIN or others).
