Description
We're actively searching for a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our team in a 100% remote role based in Mexico.
Role:
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will be an integral member of the ServiceNow team, offering direct support for end-users, performing regular maintenance, planning and testing system upgrades, and offering guidance to team members on the recommended best practices. With proficiency in troubleshooting advanced custom applications, the Senior ServiceNow Developer will work in collaboration with architects, developers, and other team members to fulfil updates, fixes, and implement new features to our primary applications, which include ITSM, ITOM, IRM, ITBM, CSM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.
Technical Skills:
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ServiceNow system applications and custom applications.
• Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow platform experience
• Ability to create, maintain, and enhance Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Self-Service Portals
• Proficient in creating and configuring Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.
• Comprehensive knowledge on ServiceNow platform modules like HRSD, APM, PPM, GRC, ITAM
• Able to perform advanced customizations including Business rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts
• Hands-on experience in designing, building and maintaining integration using REST, SOAP web services
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and lead team in providing solutions
• Performs platform upgrades, patching adhering to release management and software development best practices
• Working knowledge on Server infrastructure, Network infrastructure
• Practical knowledge on Event Management and monitoring tools
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Mid server onboarding and troubleshooting, CSDM, Data loads, transform maps.
• Proven experience in at least two additional product lines outside of ITSM
• Experience in working with LDAP, AD, SSO, Email notifications.
• Accountable for fundamental administration and configuration tasks in the ServiceNow platform.
• In charge of standard configuration, user administration, security, workflow, data management and integrations.
• Ability to activate a plug-in, build reports, gauges, and homepages
• Capability to set up Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor SLA workflows
• Aiding in translating business requirements into technical requirements
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
