Pentester

This role involves working within a collaborative team environment based in Mumbai, focusing on penetration testing activities under the guidance of team leads/managers. The primary responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for web applications and network infrastructures, along with manual report preparation to document findings.

 

Shift Requirements:

·         Standard office hours, unless otherwise specified by project requirements or client needs.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Conduct Black/Grey/White box Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Testing for web applications and network infrastructures.

·         Utilize automated and manual exploitation techniques to perform network and application layer penetration testing.

·         Analyze test results, identify false positives, and provide actionable mitigations.

·         Perform Firewall Rule-set Reviews and Secure configuration reviews.

·         Prepare manual reports detailing vulnerabilities, gaps, and observations identified during engagements.

Qualifications:

·         1-3 years of Penetration testing experience.

·         Good understanding of networking concepts.

·         Familiarity with application and network layer penetration techniques and methodologies (OWASP, NVD-CVE, Sans, etc.).

·         Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools like Nessus, Nexpose, Metasploit, nMap, Netsparker, BurpSuite, Wireshark, and tools available on Kali Linux.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Security certifications like CEH, ECSA, LPT, etc.

·         Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice-to-Haves:

·         Knowledge of Mobile Applications penetration testing and methodologies.

·         Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

·         Broad expertise with multiple operating systems such as Linux and Windows, and network services (HTTP, Databases, etc.) and their inherent security issues.

·         Security certifications like OSCP.
