Sr.Automation Tester Remote 100% en Terss

The QA Data Automation (Tester Senior) needs to be able to design and implement data solutions to ensure the data is maintainable, reliable, secure, and scalable.  This position is expected to collaborate with team members in QA or outside the QA team, validating data consistency by manual or automated solutions. Also, to create, execute, and document test cases for those validations, as well as report any issue or bug found during testing, and keep track of them till its closure. Support is required at all phases of testing QA, UAT, and Production.

 

Job Duties:

Ensure Quality Assurance.

 

·          Participate in any meeting with stakeholders to understand the data requirements.

·          Analyze and Design test cases based on the requirements.

·          Execute the test cases even manually or automated fashion.

·          Document the results of the test cases and report any issues.

·          Confirm the fix for any issue reported in QA, UAT, or Prod environment.

·          Support different teams with any QA validations to ensure data quality.

·          Ensure satisfaction of non-functional requirements.

 

Scripts Development for Automation.

·          Identify the test cases that can be automated.

·          The automation must be scalable and parallelizable.

·          Develop data pipelines and data services.

·          Implement monitoring, logging, and audit mechanisms.

·          Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other members.

·          Keep up to date on evolving technology frameworks, tools, patterns, and methodologies.

 

Operations and Maintenance.

 

·          Keep track of the data defects over their lifecycle.

·          Analyze and identify data issues.

·          Upgrade libraries and dependencies.

·          Ensure the protection of confidential data and compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines.

Required:

·          Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or related field.

·          6+ years relevant experience.

·          Bilingual – English & Spanish.

 

Certifications.

Preferred:

·          ISTQB.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities.

Required:

·          Ability to develop batch and streaming solutions using Python for test automation.

·          Ability to write complex SQL queries to verify data.

·          Knowledge of AWS Cloud platform, especially EMR, MSK, S3, Redshift, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

·          Expertise with different data storage methods (relational/non-relational databases, distributed/non-distributed file systems), data types (string, integer, float, date, binary, etc.), data structures (tabular, hierarchical, relational, graph, key-value), and data formats (CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet).

·          Experience with version control tools like GitLab or similar.
