About the role:

The integration engineer develops a strategy and partners with delivery teams to design, develop and maintain efficient and high-quality integrations connecting data, applications and third parties that support business processes and customer needs. The integration engineer also monitors and analyzes existing integrations to improve their performance and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing:

●         Gather and analyze business and customer requirements to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiencies and processes through integration

●         Design and implement integration flows and enhancements, including APIs and/or file-based integrations

●         Partner with internal and external development and design teams to support and provide oversight in designing and developing integration solutions, prototypes, and implementation of best practices

●         Determine, conduct, and automate integration tests, load tests, and performance tests, including facilitating set-up of test data and accounts

●         Prepare and manage technical documentation and self-service resources on integrations

●         Implement processes that proactively monitor integration performance

●         Flexibility to troubleshoot, resolve, and report integration issues to impacted teams and stakeholders

●         Establish, maintain, and adhere to development and integration processes, best practices, and standards

●         Use stakeholder feedback to guide the development of new products and integration enhancements

●      Provide coaching and mentorship to junior integration engineers

●      Provide direction and leadership for a team of integration engineers

●      Attend code deployment meetings up to 3 nights per week

●      Participate in weekly support rotation (currently every 6 th week on-call) resolving incidents/problems as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

●         Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent applied experience).

●         Experience in software development.

●         Experience in integration engineering

●         Experience with Boomi Integration Development

●         Certified Boomi developer

●         Strong knowledge of integration design and development processes (e.g., development, testing, troubleshooting).

●         Demonstrable experience in data integration and workflow implementation.

●         Proficiency with data modeling, manipulation, and distribution between applications.

●         Strong proficiency in relevant coding languages (e.g. C#, SQL).

●         Experience with system integration technologies (e.g. RESTful APIs, OAUTH 2.0, event brokers, data virtualization).

●         Must have experience with Boomi integration and nice to have experience with other integration platforms.
