Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Consultant, you will work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.

 

·        Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the client and internal operations team, to resolve issues and maintain operations continuity.

·        Evaluate error/gaps reported in the payroll landscape to provide workarounds and final fixes in the systems.

·        Analyze current business processes and requirements, assess SAP possibilities, and discuss recommendations with business process owners.

·        Work with business users to identify their requirements, design enhancements, and functionality to help meet user requirements.

·        Performs configuration (Customizing) work as needed to support new and existing functionality.

·        Responsible for reviewing the unit test plans and the quality assurance plans.

Qualifications

 

Required

 

·        6-10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.

·        Completion of course of study/Egresado in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering, or any pertinent field or industry, or equivalent years of experience.

·        Responsible for supporting and leading project workstreams and/or teams.

·        Identifies key drivers, defines problems, and proposes solutions.

·        Advanced English level.

·        6+ years of experience in SAP Payroll Module.

·        Experience in Supporting US Payroll processes in any of the following topics:

o    Ordinary payroll and off-cycle payroll processes.

o    Payroll Schema and Calculation Rules.

o    Payroll Features and Operations.

o    Payroll Forms and Remuneration statements.

o    Cumulation Wage Types.

o    Retroactive Calculation.

o    Accruals.

o    Gross to Net.

o    Data Medium Exchange.

o    Garnishment and Benefits.

o    Evaluation for posting accounting.

·        Strong knowledge of Time Management in any of the following:

o    Day processing of Time Data.

o    Absences.

o    Compensation time quota.

o    Overtime and reduced working week.

o    Time Wage Valuation.

·        Strong analytical/problem-solving ability.

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·        Ability to work in teams and interact across all levels.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Mexico at the time of hire; limited sponsorship may be available for this role based on business needs and applicable law.

 

Preferred

 

·        Solid understanding of ABAP foundations and Technical Integrations (Debugging, and Job Scheduling).

·        Certification in SAP HCM or EC Payroll Module.
