Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Performance Testing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in performance testing, sizing, and bottleneck analysis, especially using tools such as JMeter , Python , Kibana , Elasticsearch , Azure Monitoring , and an advanced understanding of Continuous Integration platforms such as GitHub Actions. This role is key to ensuring our applications and systems maintain optimal performance under load and stress conditions.

To Rock This Role, You Should:

·         Design, execute, and maintain performance tests using JMeter to assess application capacity, stability, and scalability.

·         Develop Python scripts for data generation and automate performance tests and generate detailed analysis of the results.

·         Configure and manage continuous integration and delivery ( CI/CD ) pipelines in GitHub Actions to ensure performance tests run continuously and efficiently.

·         Monitor and discover bottlenecks in Azure .

·         Work closely with development and operations teams to identify and troubleshoot performance issues across different environments.

·         Collaborate with Azure teams to implement and execute load tests in cloud environments.

·         Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with teams to implement performance improvements.

·         Create and maintain clear and detailed technical documentation on performance testing, results reporting, and best practices.

What do you need to come aboard?

·         4+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (6+ years in total).

·         Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise.

·         Ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on combinations and interactions of products.

·         Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem.

·         Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.

·         Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing.

·         Ability to conduct and lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.

·         Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high-level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package.

·         Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.
