Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed.  You will do this by performing the following job responsibilities:  

·        Project Leadership: Lead full life-cycle Oracle Cloud Benefits implementations, from initial scoping and requirements gathering to post-go-live stabilization, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

·        Solution Design & Architecture: Collaborate with HR and IT functions to design comprehensive Oracle HCM Cloud solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

·        Functional Expertise: Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter advisor (SMA) on Oracle Cloud Benefits, providing guidance on system functionality, optimization strategies, and best practices.

·        Data Migration & Integration: Oversee data migration efforts from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance. Lead system integration efforts across Oracle HCM modules and external systems.

·        Process Optimization: Drive business process re-engineering, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions to optimize workforce management and HR service delivery.

·        Advanced Support: Provide expert-level functional support, troubleshoot complex system issues, and collaborate with Oracle Support to resolve high-priority service requests (SRs).

·        Testing & Quality Assurance: Manage module specific testing, including system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing to ensure system stability and accurate deployments.

·        Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and internal governance policies.

·        Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, providing strategic insights and ensuring alignment of HR system capabilities with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required

·        7+ years of consulting and/or relevant industry experience.

·        Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or similar).

·        Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).

·        Experience implementing / supporting Oracle Cloud Benefits in all phases on at least two full implementations (requirements gathering, design, build, testing, go-live).

·        Experience in creating benefit life events (collapsing rules), configurating and/or maintaining plan types, options, plans, and programs, configurating rates and coverages (standard and variable profiles).

·        Strong understanding of Benefits processes and configurations, including integration points with Payroll and Time and Labor modules.

·        Experience in creating and/or modifying and/or understanding fast formulas, payroll balances for benefits elements, configurating and/or modifying eligibility profiles (derived factors, user-defined criteria, etc).

·        Demonstrated experience with configuration tasks, including DFFs (Descriptive Flexfields), EFFs (Extensible Flexfields), EITs (Element Input Types), Value Sets, Common Lookups, Redwood UI, Workflow, and Benefits-specific approval processes.

·        Understanding of data loaders, spreadsheet loaders, personalization/customizations, reporting tools.

·        Familiarity with Oracle Fusion security design and structure.

Preferred

·        Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits certification.

·        Experience with additional Oracle HCM modules or cross-module integrations.

·        Exposure to global HR processes and regulatory requirements.
