Java Support Engineer - Senior (AWS) - Remoto en Global Delivery Center Capgemini

We are seeking a  Java Support Engineer  with experience in AWS services to join our technical team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about problem-solving, with strong backend development knowledge and platform administration skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, maintaining application stability, and collaborating closely with development and operations teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide second- and third-level technical support for Java applications in production environments.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to microservices developed with  Spring Boot .

• Collaborate with development teams to implement improvements and fixes.

• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using  Jenkins .

• Monitor and manage container deployments using  Kubernetes .

• Participate in platform and cloud service administration, especially within  AWS .

• Work with  Angular -based user interfaces to identify and resolve integration issues.

• Document processes, solutions, and best practices.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in Java application development and support.

• Advanced knowledge of  Spring Boot  and microservices architecture.

• Experience with  Angular  for frontend support.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially  Jenkins .

• Experience deploying and managing containers with  Kubernetes .

• Platform administration skills (monitoring, logging, alerting, etc.).

• Experience working with  AWS  services (EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, etc.).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

Nice to Have:

·       AWS or related technical certifications.

·       Previous experience in technical support or DevOps roles.

·       Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
