As an Elasticsearch Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient search solutions using Elasticsearch. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Elasticsearch-based applications to ensure high performance, reliability, and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and deploying Elasticsearch-based solutions for efficient search and indexing capabilities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and implement appropriate Elasticsearch strategies.
• Optimizing search performance by fine-tuning Elasticsearch clusters, indexing, and query execution.
• Creating and managing Elasticsearch indices, mappings, and data models to support complex search queries and aggregations.
• Implementing security measures and access controls in Elasticsearch to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Elasticsearch performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Developing custom plugins and extensions to enhance Elasticsearch functionalities based on project needs.
• Working closely with DevOps teams to deploy and manage Elasticsearch clusters in production environments.
• Staying updated with the latest Elasticsearch features, tools, and best practices to continuously improve system efficiency and performance.
• Documenting technical designs, configurations, and procedures related to Elasticsearch implementations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as an Elasticsearch Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of Elasticsearch architecture and internals.
• Proficiency in Elasticsearch query DSL, indexing, data modelling, and performance optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch clusters, shards, and replicas configuration in a distributed environment.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and Elasticsearch management tasks.
• Knowledge of security implementations in Elasticsearch, including role-based access control and encryption methods.
• Experience in integrating Elasticsearch with other technologies such as Logstash, Kibana, Beats, or other data ingestion tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Elasticsearch-related issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
