We are looking for a  Privacy Program Manager  to support the organization’s Privacy programs.  As a Privacy Program Manager, your role will be to conduct privacy reviews, monitor and assure privacy standards, drive scalable processes that keep us in compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop the program, processes, and controls needed to safeguard CLIENT’s confidential information.  The candidate has a passion for protecting both CLIENT’s and our customer’s information, and enabling the business to mitigate the risk of a privacy incident through scalable processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years’ experience in product/program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 2+ years working with compliance or regulatory programs.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a combination of roles in privacy, operations security, information protection, risk management, technical program management or equivalent.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet CLIENT, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
    • CLIENT Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the CLIENT Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of privacy policy, regulatory landscape, and privacy risk.
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or other equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience working with legal/regulatory teams to translate privacy requirements to actionable engineering plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic privacy projects and programs for the CLIENT Privacy Office across the CLIENT enterprise and its brands and business units.
  • Conduct technical privacy reviews for services, privacy impact assessments, data protection impact assessments, data transfer impact assessments, and document reviews.
  • Ensure privacy reviews, privacy requirements, and action items are triaged and resolved timely.
  • Serve as a privacy advocate. Proactively revise and develop privacy guidance materials.
  • Inventory systems and identify / mitigate manual processes with privacy implications.
  • Identify and drive program, process, and tooling improvements.
  • Act as a privacy advisor, provide privacy expertise on user consent, data collection requirements, data storage and processing, and ensuring services meet privacy requirements and business objectives.
