Pay Rate: $17 US Dollar Per Hour


Requirements:


• Strong Experience in Accessibility Testing, WCAG guidelines

• Direct previous experience with testing websites and apps to ensure conformance to WCAG 2.0 / 2.1

• Experience testing assistive technologies using iOS & Android devices

• Thorough understanding of W3C standards-compliant HTML and CSS

• Experience using Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools

• Experience in working with assistive technology for accessibility testing (e.g. JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (OSX & iOS), and Android Talkback)

• Knowledge of Deque tools (aXe, Assure/Comply or Worldspace) preferred

• Knowledge of using ChromeVox, Voice over and other assistive tools preferred

• Experience in testing Mobile apps for accessibility 

• Experience in creating test strategy and test plans

• Experience in creating documents and writing good bug reports

• Understanding of compatibility with various platforms and limitations of use

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and iOS/Android development best practices (Does not need to be a developer but should be able to research and recommend solutions in these various technologies in collaboration with developers)

• Thorough, methodical, and creative with extreme attention to detail

• Expert at time management and able to work with minimal supervision

JD / ROLE:

• Testing all digital content against digital accessibility standards – set out by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

• To determine if it is usable for people with disabilities, many of whom use assistive technology.

• QA Tester, who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the Google internal products.

• A flexible resource, working with different teams across multiple projects and platforms (Desktop browsers, iOS & Android Devices). 

• Testing the content on various browsers, different mobile devices, updating the end results in the client provided tool using assistive technology

• As part of the QA team, it is expected that they will execute use cases, log bugs, track progress, and verify the resolutions of issues written. 

• Help the leadership team to prepare and extract metric, track the issues filed, review and update test cases

• Very good experience in Browser developer tools, debug logs, ADB commands.
