Requirements

Must to have:

·         Demonstrate proficiency in a range of AWS services, including but not limited to S3, KMS, Glue/EMR, SNS, SQS, Athena, and others.

·         Design and architect AWS Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Serverless Framework.

·         Workflow Orchestration (Must have).

·         Implement and optimize workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and/or Dagster to automate and streamline data processes.

·         Pipeline Development (Must have).

·         Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and integration between systems.

·         Data Architecture (Nice to have)

·         Collaborate on design and implementation of robust data architectures that align with goals and requirements

·         Provide input on ensuring data integrity, security, and adherence to industry best practices.

·         Collaborate closely with the Data Engineering Team Lead to drive technical excellence and innovation within the team.

·         Technical Leadership (Nice to have).

·         Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on critical technical decisions and driving the implementation of best practices.

Responsibilities

·        Data Pipeline development under the AWS platform, leveraging Python and SQL

·         Pipeline orchestration using tools like Airflow and Dagster

·         Following development lifecycle including analysis, design, dev, unit testing, QA support and Prod release

·         Design and optimize AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK

·         Support Data architects in design and implementation plans

·         Document data artifacts created

·        Working under US Eastern Time schedule
