About the client: The Client is a provider of business technology services to the eyecare industry, and they are seeking to fill a software developer position in the Engineering department.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced L2 Support Engineer to join our team and provide top-tier support for the Uprise project. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SQL Server, troubleshooting expertise, and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS). This role requires working within USA time zones and involves internal communication only.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide Level 2 support, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring timely resolution.
· Write and optimize SQL Server queries to analyze and resolve data-related issues.
· Collaborate with internal teams to maintain system performance and reliability.
· Work closely with the development team to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
· Maintain documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
· Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration (preferred but not required).
Required Qualifications:
· 5 – 7 years of experience with SQL Server query development and troubleshooting.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Experience supporting and troubleshooting PMS systems (preferred).
· Familiarity with GitHub (preferred but not mandatory).
· Ability to work USA time zone hours.
· Excellent internal communication skills.
