Requirements

• Strong knowledge with WDM/SDH technologies.
• Experience with transmission equipment with other vendors such as Huawei, Nokia, Infinera, Ciena, ECI.
• Network Planning & Design, Integration/Commissioning, Customer Support.
• No need Engineers with most of experience in customer carriers such as Telmex, GTAC, Totalplay, etc
• Excellent communication skills verbal & written
• Good analytical skills

Activities:

• HLD, LLD design
• Equipment configuration
• Elaborate a Method of Procedure (MOP)
• Network operation changes: Migration, swaps, software upgrade, optical layer change. 
• Troubleshooting.

Main Functions:

• Provide high level and low level design for WDM/SDH projects
• Remote implement solution changes on live network.
•  Review, get and analyze test reports, health checks and performance.

Required Technical Skills

• Knowledge of optical transport network technologies such as CWDM, DWDM, SDH.
• Working experience in transmission network design, implementation or support.
• Experience with test equipment such as OTDR, OSA, BERT, and optical power meters.
